1. Who We Are

Tools4BC ApS (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides the TBC Mobile App mobile application for business customers (B2B).

2. Scope

This app is intended for employees/contractors of business customers.

Business data entered in the app is stored in each customer’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.

 

We act as a software provider and processor for app operations.

Each customer is the controller of its own business data.

 

3. Data We Process

Depending on customer configuration, the app processes:

– User account identifiers (e.g., username/resource number)

– Data used in Time Registration activities

– Authentication-related metadata (e.g., device info, IP value sent during login flow)

– Technical error logs (user identifier, action, error message)

 

4. Data Storage and Hosting

– Business data is not stored by us as a separate business database.

– Business records are stored in the customer’s Business Central tenant.

– We may process limited technical/operational telemetry needed to support the app (e.g., error diagnostics), as configured.

 

5. Geolocation and Regional Use

The app is currently restricted to use in Denmark.

– We do not collect device geolocation coordinates.

 

6. Biometric Authentication

If enabled by the user, biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint) is used only for local device unlock.

Biometric templates are never collected or stored by us and never sent to our systems or customer Business Central.

 

7. Why We Process Data

We process data to:

– Authenticate users

– Display and submit time registrations

– Enforce customer configuration/rules

– Maintain security and diagnose technical issues

 

8. Legal Basis (where applicable)

For EEA/UK users, processing is based on:

– Contract performance (service delivery)

– Legitimate interests (security, reliability, diagnostics)

– Legal obligations (where required)

 

9. Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

Data is shared only with:

– The customer’s Business Central environment

– Service providers/subprocessors necessary to operate the app (if any), under contract

 

10. Retention

– Business data retention is controlled by the customer in their Business Central.

– Technical logs are retained only as long as necessary for support/security.

 

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transport and secure credential/token handling on device.

 

12. International Transfers

If data is processed outside the user’s jurisdiction, appropriate safeguards are applied as required by law.

 

13. User Rights

Data subject requests (access, correction, deletion, etc.) should be directed to the user’s employer/customer (data controller).

14. Children

The app is not directed to children and is intended for business use only.

 

15. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted with an updated date.
